The Capri Tour Rome you cannot afford to miss!
Located in the gulf of Naples and surrounded by a turquoise sea, Capri has been labelled the Pearl of the Mediterranean for years and years.
This Island of Dreams has enchanted kings, hollywood stars and the powerful and rich from all around the World, thanks to its landscapes, mild climate and the picturesque small white houses.
The Capri Tour from Rome starts early in the morning after being picked up at your hotel.
Soon you will be heading south crossing the Roman countryside and enjoying the view of the Castelli Romani villages on the hills and the Benedictin Abbey of Montecassino, reconstructed after the famous WW2 battle.
The journey will take approximately 3 hours.
Once in Naples, you will board the speedboat for the 45 minute crossing to Marina Grande, the port of Capri.
Here you will have the option of visiting the enchanting Blue Grotto (if weather and sea conditions permit) for an extra cost of €28.
Back on the island, jump on the minibuses that will take you for a panoramic drive to reach Anacapri, located at 280 metres above sea level from where you will have a wonderful view of the Gulf of Naples.
You will be hungry by then, so what’s better than a stop at a traditional local trattoria where you can enjoy some tasty Neapolitan products.
After lunch spend the rest of the afternoon strolling through the iconic little streets of Capri.
Perhaps engage in shopping for souvenirs or check out Piazza Umberto and take some nice photographs before returning to Marina Grande to board the boat back to Naples.
As you approach the port of Naples, don’t miss this opportunity to admire the splendid Maschio Angioino (a 12th-century fortress), the Certosa of San Martino and the Royal Palace.

During the journey from Rome to Naples, it will not always be possible to make a comfort stop, but the boats for Capri have bar and restroom facilities.
We would recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes. In spring and summer time the heat can be intense. Make sure you protect yourself from excessive exposure to sun and bring sun glasses, a hat and water with you.
During high season there may be delays in boarding the boats and minibuses and we ask you to pay close attention to your guide to avoid getting separated from your group.
In the unlikely case of extreme adverse sea conditions, the boats will not be able to sail from Naples to Capri. Should that happen, this tour will continue with a tour to Pompeii and the difference in price will be reimbursed.
